Parks Regulation (Amendment) Act 1974 1974 c.29 An Act to amend further the Parks Regulation Act 1872. [17th July 1974] 1 1 This Act may be cited as the Parks Regulation (Amendment) Act 1974. 2 The Parks Regulation Act 1872 and the Parks Regulation (Amendment) Act 1926 and this Act may be cited together as the Parks Regulation Acts 1872 to 1974. 2 The Parks Regulation Act 1872 shall have effect subject to the amendments set out in the Schedule to this Act. SCHEDULE Amendment of the Parks Regulation Act 1872 Section 2. 1 In sections 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 for the words “park-keeper” or “keeper”, there shall be substituted the words “park constable”. 2 After section 3 there shall be inserted the following section:— Attestation of park constables. 3A Every park constable shall on appointment be attested as a constable by making a declaration before a justice of the peace that he will duly execute the office of constable.
