Under s 61 (1)(b), a court will serve a subpoena on the Registrar ordering the production of specific documents. These subpoenas need to be handled promptly and correctly. The oppositions and hearings section in the Trade Marks and Designs Group and the office of legal counsel are the areas in the organisation that handle such requests.
